No Surprise Games

This assumes Oklahoma City will beat Memphis

Not sure Games

4/11 – New Orleans at San Antonio

4/11 – Denver at Minnesota

We have 2 Jazz Scenarios that can take place.  Inside each are sub scenarios

Scenario #1 – Jazz win out

Scenario #2 – Jazz beat GS lose to Portland

Scenario #1  – Jazz win out

Utah Jazz win final two games and are the #3 seed and win the division

Portland ends with 48 wins tied with OKC and either San Antonio or New Orleans

Portland has the tiebreak with the 4-0 series v. OKC and is the #4 seed and makes OKC the 6th seed

The winner of San Antonio v New Orleans would be the 5th seed

OKC would be the 6th seed

If Denver beats Minnesota and New Orleans beats San Antonio, the tiebreaker for Denver and San Antonio would be record v. playoff teams for seeding

If Denver beats Minnesota and San Antonio beats New Orleans it is Denver 7th and New Orleans 8th

If Minnesota beats Denver and New Orleans beats San Antonio it is Spurs 7th and Minnesota 8th

If Minnesota beats Denver and San Antonio beat New Orleans it is Minnesota 7th and New Orleans 8th

Jazz Summary:  Jazz would be 3rd seed playing OKC

Scenario #2 – Jazz beat Golden State and lose to Portland

Portland is the 3rd seed with win over Utah

Jazz, OKC and New Orleans or San Antonio would be at 48 wins.

Jazz are would be 4-4 in all scenarios

OKC would be 4-3 if New Orleans is involved and 5-3 if San Antonio is involved so they would be the 4th seed and Jazz 5th.

Winner of New Orleans and San Antonio would be the 6th seed

If Denver beats Minnesota and San Antonio beats New Orleans it is Denver 7th and New Orleans 8th

If Minnesota beats Denver and New Orleans beats San Antonio it is Spurs 7th and Minnesota 8th

Jazz would be the 5th seed and play OKC

David Locke, radio voice of the Utah Jazz and Jazz NBA Insider, brings you the daily podcast on the Utah Jazz, Locked On Jazz. Today, Locke opens the show with his biggest worry for the Utah Jazz season. Carrer years last year by Joe Ingles and Mike Conley could be hard to replicate as they both turn 34 years old in the upcoming weeks. Other players like Bojan Bogdanovic and Jordan Clarkson didn’t have career years and could match what they did or improve.

Then Locke is joined by the Athletic’s Tony Jones to continue the talk about 5 teams in the West that could play in the play in game and also could win the West. They did into Jason Kidd and Luke Doncic and how that impacts the Dallas Mavericks. They talk about the growth of Michael Porter Jr. and the Denver Nuggets.

Then they look at the Utah Jazz and how they can get better this year. Tony and Locke review game 6 v. the Clippers and then think about how the addition of Rudy Gay can help the Utah Jazz.

Thanks for making Locked On Jazz your first listen of the day
