Locke opens with a new feature looking at the advanced stats and the shot clock of the opening night win over the Denver Nuggets.   Then Lockes shares what he saw on film from Ricky Rubio‘s assists and the subtle ways he opens up his teammates.

In addition, Locke hits on the defensive combinations, the Jazz depth and then digs into how the new timeout rules will impact games.  Certain types of teams are going to really struggle with the new timeout rules.

Finally, Locke takes a gaggle of questions from the Facebook Live audience.

David Locke enters his ninth year as the radio play-by-play voice of the Utah Jazz, having spent the majority of his career in radio in Salt Lake City and Seattle. In the summer of 2016, Locke created the Locked on Podcast Network which has podcast daily bite sized podcasts for every NBA and NFL team. A native of Palo Alto, Calif., Locke graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles with a degree in Political Science and Sociology. Locke and his wife have a son and a daughter.

The Utah Jazz fall to the New Orleans Pelicans as Devonte Graham hits a three in the final seconds. For the Utah Jazz its the 4th lose at home in the last 6 games and it is another close loss. when the ball didn’t bounce their way. Donovan Mitchell had hit a three that looked like it clinched a win for the Jazz pulling a rabbit out of the hat, but the call was overturned it gave the Pelicans another chance which they took for the win.
