The NBA Free Agency free for all is right around the corner, David Locke, the radio voice of the Utah Jazz and Jazz NBA insider, takes a look at the free agency market and where it will stand for the players on the market this year compared to the last three seasons.

Specifically, Locke pretends to be Derrick Favors agent and calls around to the teams in the league to see what interest there is acquiring the 6’10 Favors. Locke then lays out what he believes will be the two choices facing Favors. Locke does the same thing with Dante Exum and how his free agency looks.

Then Locke takes a peek at Kevin Pelton’s top 30 NBA Free Agents, a list that doesn’t include either Favors or Exum.

Rudy Gobert is the defensive player of the year and you could really tell that it mattered to him to win the award.

David Locke enters his ninth year as the radio play-by-play voice of the Utah Jazz, having spent the majority of his career in radio in Salt Lake City and Seattle. In the summer of 2016, Locke created the Locked on Podcast Network which has podcast daily bite sized podcasts for every NBA and NFL team. A native of Palo Alto, Calif., Locke graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles with a degree in Political Science and Sociology. Locke and his wife have a son and a daughter.
