Should be a great one. Jazz winners of 15 of last 17. Pacers have won 7 of 9 and 9 of 10 at home.

Jazz have missed on 6 of first 7 shots and trail 8-2 with 8:57 left in the 1st quarter – Pacers are the 2nd best team defending the above the break 3 and the Jazz are 0 for 3 to start on those shots

That was an offensive foul on Oladipo as was the play before on Joseph

16 to 6 run for the Jazz since the last timeout. Jazz now lead it 18-14. Pacers have hit on 2 of last 9 shots. The Gobert v. Turner match up is interesting.

Jazz lead it after 1 32-20. – Close on a 30 to 12 run.

EFG% – 67%

Mitchell 10 points.

Pacers taking a lot of mid range shots – they are 4 of 13 from the mid range tonight, were 4 of 9 in 1st quarter and 0 for 4 in the 2nd quarter. Also 0 for 6 from three. 10 of 30 overall. Jazz lead it 38-24

Ingles 3 was a tad late so score is now Jazz 46-37 with 2:47 left in the 2nd quarter

Jazz are fabulous tonight. They lead the Pacers 63-47 with 9:49 left in the 3rd. Jazz looking for their 9th straight road win. Rubio is terrific tonight.

Concern for the Jazz is that Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles both have 3 fouls. Would be a game changer

Gobert is protecting the rim and Indiana is taking a ton of mid range shots. At halftime Zach Guthrie said the Jazz have to make sure to contest those shots. They are 2/5 in 3rd quarter on mid range

Indiana is 3rd best mid range team in NBA at 43.5% they are 10 of 25 tonight. 25 of their 57 shots have been long 2s – Jazz lead it 70-59 with 4:39

The Jazz lead it 88-69 with 10:09 left in the 4th quarter. Pacers had it down to 8 and Oladipo checked out of the game. From 1:14 left in 3rd quarter to 10:09 left in 4th the Jazz are on a 15-4 run.

The Jazz defense is mind blowing. Rudy Gobert is insane but it is worth mentioning that Derrick Favors in the minutes that Gobert on the bench was just as good

Jazz win it 104-84 in a game that wasn’t close.  Impressive.

RUDY GOBERT FOR DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Jazz are 24-15 when Rudy plays
15 of last 18 games defense rating at 101 or below. Jazz are 16-2 in those games
27 of Gobert’s 39 games defensive rating has been 101 or below

JAZZ GAME REWIND: 2nd Half propels Toronto past the youthful Jazz

The Jazz fell short in the second half as the Toronto defense shut the new-look Jazz down in route to cruising to an 114 – 82 Raptors victory. Lauri Markkanen shined for the Jazz with 20 points and 5 rebounds but the Raptors length and athleticism proved to be too much for the Jazz riding a dominant 3rd quarter to pull away from the Jazz who played well in the first half, only trailing by one.

Relive the game through the radio highlights. Voiced by Leif Thulin.
