Rudy Gobert has always said he is a fast healer.   Ignoring the time table of a 4 to 6 week injury on November 10th, Gobert returned to practice today for the Utah Jazz on December 3rd.

The Jazz called it a light practice for Gobert who was wearing a brace on his injured knee.

Gobert has been building to this the last week.  His pre-game workouts in front of the fans have increased noticeably.  In Los Angeles, he was sprinting, cutting, twisting and back pedaling.  That worked seemed to work as Donovan Mitchell said he was impressed with Gobert’s conditioning today at practice.

“I was surprised that he was in pretty good shape, running back, talking and communicating,” said Mitchell.

Quin Snyder said that he will have to look at changing rotations and how the team plays considering how the the team has played the over the last 11 games, “we have two (Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert) terrific players at that spot and Favors has been better than good he has been great,” explained Snyder.

Jazz will shoot around tomorrow morning and then Gobert will have pre-game on floor work before Washington before we will know if he plays on Monday.

If Gobert returns the Jazz will have notched a 7-4 record without their all-nba center and found an elite offense.  The Jazz offense has been the 2nd best offense in the NBA over the past 11 games while the defense has been 16th.    Over the 11 game stretch the Jazz have the 6th best efficiency differential in the NBA.

Rodney Hood did not practice and is still listed as questionable.  Raul Neto practiced and is listed as probable.
